I'm unsure why I'm struggling to convert JK after hitting #GGST_CH's Alpha Blade. When I practice in Training Mode, it's easy. In game it either doesn't come out or hits 2x. "IAD BRC jump cancel concept" - Guilty Gear Strive: Chipp Tech April 6th
Been thinking about BRC cancels and their utility, finally came with the idea of applying it to air normal's and it seems like a really powerful technique.
While this tech best works with Chipp because of triple jump properties, all characters can do this. They just would need to save air action (ie if you did a safejump where you just jumped, not airdashed, you could cancel jump normal into brc)
*I mispoke a few times explaining ~5 min in, to make it brief
1) Anytime p2 held block during the entire blockstring duration, the setup was completely gapless
2) If p2, pressed a button, got hit, or dp'ed the setup was either a frametrap (if they got hit or button came out) or a safejump (if we landed without being hit by dp)
**volumes low during the gameplay clips, gotta figure out the audio balance thanks for being patient with me!

Useless shuriken set up that puts you a safe distance away so you can't be hit by mash/DP. Against heavies you can do the corner rekka loop to break the wall.
